According to the information released at this point in time, a twenty-three year old male from Paramus, New Jersey has been arrested and charged with a slew of criminal offenses following a physical altercation that took place in his vehicle on Sunday. Apparently the Defendant and his two friends got into a heated argument that turned physical while they were driving through Fort Lee early Sunday morning. During the altercation it is alleged that the Defendant took out an X-Acto knife and stabbed his two friends, one in the hand and the other on his right arm. The victims first walked into the Fort Lee Police Department to file the charges against the Defendant, however, they then had to be taken to the hospital so they could be treated for there injuries.

The Defendant was quickly apprehended and formally charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, one count of possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and one count of unlawful possession of a weapon. The Defendant was taken to the Bergen County Jail and bail was set. Depending on the injuries suffered, the Defendant could be facing second degree felony charges. Therefore, if convicted, the Defendant could be facing up to a decade in State Prison.
