Montvale New Jersey Police make another Drug Bust
Detectives from the Montvale, Park Ridge and Bergen County Prosecutor Office teamed up to make yet another drug bust in Bergen County this week. It is unclear what lead detectives to the Defendant, a twenty-three year old Montvale, New Jersey resident, but a month long investigation lead to a raid of his home. According to the reports, the raid lead detectives to uncover a small amount of marijuana and cocaine. Also, several pipes and scales were located inside the Defendant’s home as well. As of now, the Defendant has formally been charged with cocaine possession, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The most serious charge is the possession of cocaine. Possession of cocaine in New Jersey is a third degree felony and if convicted, the Defendant could be facing up to five (5) years in a New Jersey State Prison and a fine up to $35,000.
