Lodi, NJ Juvenile Attacked with Lead Pipe and Robbed
The Lodi police has reported that a juvenile was viciously attacked by two defendants, one yielding a knife and the other a lead pipe. During the attack it is also alleged that the victim was robbed by the two defendants as well. According to the reports, the juvenile was walking down the street when he felt a tug on his backpack and when he turned around one of the defendant’s lunged towards him yielding a knife. Once the juvenile backed up to protect himself, he was struck with a lead pipe by the other defendant. The defendant’s then took the victims backpack and fled on foot towards First Street. The police are asking for any one with any information to please come forward.
Since the defendants used a weapon (i.e. knife & lead pipe) they will be charged with armed robbery in the first degree.
