2 Week Investigation Leads to Lodi Native Being Arrested for Drug Distribution
The Lodi Police Department was at it yet again this week. This time they were able to arrest and charge another Borough resident with various different drug charges. According to the reports released thus far, they were able to conduct surveillance on the Defendant and actually observe him conduct several drug transaction within the last two weeks. At this point in time it doesn’t look as if any one besides the Defendant was involved. As a result of their investigation, the Defendant, a thirty-one year old Lodi resident, was arrested and charged with various drug possession and drug distribution offenses. They include, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of Percocet, possession of Percocet with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. The Defendant is currently being held in the Bergen County Jail on a $25,000 bail. Also seized as a result of the investigation were two 60-inch TVs, a 2002 BMW, sports memorabilia and $5,242 all stemming from alleged illegal drug proceeds.
