Elmwood Park Police Arrest Dumont & Bergenfield Residents on Heroin Possession Charges

Elmwood Park has announced that they have charged three more individuals with the unlawful possession of heroin. According to the reports, an Elmwood Park Police Officer stopped a thirty-one year old Dumont, NJ resident for a minor traffic violation around 4 pm yesterday. However, during the stop, the officers discovered that the Defendant was possessing more than 40 bags of heroin. The Defendant was arrested and charged with the unlawful possession of heroin in the third degree. He was released on a summons.
