Mushrooms, Cocaine & Ecstasy Discovered in Cliffside Park Raid
It is unclear at this point in time what exactly tipped off the Cliffside Park and Fort Lee Police Department about the Defendant but apparently they were investigating him for over a month. The Defendant, a thirty-five (35) year old Cliffside Park resident, is alleged to have been distributing substantial quantities of various drugs from his home over the last month or so. The investigation was lead by the Bergen County Narcotics Task Force and it appears that it took them about a month before they felt like they had enough information to obtain a search warrant for the Defendant’s home.
Once they obtained the search warrant for the home, the Bergen County Regional SWAT team hit the house. Inside the home they located certain quantities of cocaine, Ecstasy and psilocybin mushrooms. In all, four individuals were arrested and charged with various criminal offenses and apparently a fifth suspect is on the loose. The Defendant has been charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of Ecstasy with the intent to distribute, possession of psilocybin mushrooms with the intent to distribute and endangering the welfare of a child (since a juvenile was located inside the home at the time of the raid).
