A 34-year-old man from Teaneck, New Jersey is being charged with stabbing his girlfriend to death, and using a plastic bag to smother his girlfriend’s five-year-old daughter. It is alleged that the Defendant murdered the five-year-old girl because she witnessed her mother’s murder. It is alleged that the Defendant stabbed his girlfriend multiple times before she died. This allegedly all stemmed from an argument that they had. The Defendant is employed by the state as a custodian for the Leonia Middle School. The victims in this matter are also residents of Bergen County.

The bodies were discovered after the victims relatives begin questioning the defendant about her whereabouts on Tuesday. They did this because they had not heard from her for a while. It is alleged that the Defendant then went with his girlfriend’s relatives to her  house on W. Palisades Ave.

When they arrived at her house, the Defendant was the first one to enter into the home. It is alleged that the defendant entered the victims home by breaking a window. Once inside, the defendant then alerted the relatives that he had discovered their bodies. A person walking in front of the home saw the defendant and the family trying to break into the home, and so they contacted the police. Upon their arrival police found the defendant and two of the victims relatives inside the home. Brady is being charged with two counts of murder, weapons possession, and hindering apprehension charges. Bail has been set for him at $2 million. He is in the Bergen County jail.
