Elmwood Park Police find Crack Cocaine & Hypodermic Needles in Defendant’s Car
According to the reports released thus far, a New Milford Police Officer was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of hypodermic needles late last week. It appears that the Defendant was sitting in his car in an apartment complex parking lot in Elmwood Park when an officer approached him to conduct a welfare check. Apparently, the apartment complex where the Defendant was parked is a well-known drug area to the Elmwood Park Police. It is unclear what transpired next but the Defendant was eventually arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of hypodermic needles as well as driving while intoxicated.
