Crack Cocaine & Handgun Seized from Bergenfield Drug Dealer

It appears that the Bergenfield Police Department and the Bergen County Narcotics Task Force teamed up to arrest a suspected local drug dealer. According to the reports released to date, it seems as if the departments had been watching the Defendant for at least a month prior to executing the search warrant on his home. During the execution of the warrant, the officers uncovered approximately 30 grams of cocaine, 117 baggies of crack cocaine and a .357 handgun. The Defendant has formally been charged with the unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute and possession of a weapon during the commission of a drug crime.
