Englewood Police arrest two men & Charge them with Burglary
The Englewood Police department reports that they have arrested two individuals on October 22 for allegedly trying to enter a resident’s home. Initial reports indicate that two men from the Bronx, armed with a weapon, attempted to enter a home in Englewood New Jersey. It is not entirely clear at this point but it appears that the homeowners were able to scare off the two individuals before they were able to make entry into the home. As a result of a tip from a neighbor, the Englewood police officers were able to apprehend the two suspects. When the two suspects were apprehended they were discovered to be in possession of a knife and burglary tools.
The suspects have been charged and booked in the Bergen County Jail on attempted burglary and burglary. Apparently there were several vehicles in the neighborhood that had been broken into, which the police believe these suspects are responsible for. Bail has been set at $81,000 and both suspects remain in custody.
