Marijuana, Scales & Imitation Handgun found in New Milford Home
It seems the like the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Narcotic Task Force was at it yet again this week. According to the reports released thus far, the Task Force, the Bergen County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit and New Milford Police Department executed a search warrant on a borough home this week. Located inside the home officers indicate that they discovered not only marijuana but scales, baggies and an imitation handgun as well. As a result of the findings, the one tenant, an eighteen year old male and an associate, a nineteen year old male from Westwood were arrested and charged with various felony drug offenses, including possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
Authorities believe that the Defendant’s were “involved in the distribution of various controlled dangerous substances” throughout Bergen County for a substantial period of time. The Defendant’s were both taken to the Bergen County Jail were they remain being held on a $35,000 bail.
