Handguns, Crack Cocaine & Counterfeit Money Found in Teaneck NJ Home

After repeated complaints, the Teaneck New Jersey detectives bureau launched an investigation into a twenty-year old suspected drug dealer who resided inside their borough. Eventually the detectives were able to gain enough information to obtain a search warrant for the suspects home. Once the search warrant was executed the officers arrested the defendant and charged him with a slue of felonies. According to the initial reports, the search of the defendant’s home revealed, a .380 caliber handgun, .45 caliber handgun, ammunition for both weapons, a speed loader for a handguns, marijuana, crack cocaine, Oxycodone (commonly known as Roxy), digital scales, counterfeit money and approximately $800 in cash.

Based on the items seized during the execution of the search warrant, the defendant will most likely be charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon (provided the weapons are illegal), possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute (for more information about this offense click here), possession of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of prescription legend drugs with the intent to distribute and money laundering. The quantity of the drugs possessed will control in the degree of the charges issued. According to the Bergen County Jail records, the defendant is currently being held in their facility on  a $150,000 bail.
