Two Adults & Three Juveniles Charged with Aggravated Assault in Teaneck, New Jersey

A brawl at Teaneck High School just after 9pm on Tuesday sent one to the hospital with a stab wound. In total five individuals, two adults and three juveniles were taken into custody as a result of the brawl. It is unclear at this point in time what started the brawl but when the police responded to a 911 call they found a nineteen year old male near Elizabeth Ave bleeding from what appeared to be a stab wound. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and was treated and released. According to the reports, a steak knife was found close to the scene.

The victim was arrested and charged with rioting, simple assault and disorderly conduct as a result of his involvement in the brawl. His bail was set at $7,500. One of the juveniles was charged with aggravated assault, endangering an injured victim, disorderly conduct and three counts of unlawful possession of a weapon (metal pipe &steak knife) for his involvement in the brawl. The two other juveniles taken into custody were charged with aggravated assault, endangering an injured victim and disorderly conduct. The other adult involved was arrested and charged with rioting, disorderly conduct and endangering an  injured victim and his bail was set at $7,500 as well.
