According to the reports released by the Franklin Lakes Police Department, a teenager from Oakland, New Jersey was rearrested and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams after he attempted to enter the Franklin Lakes Municipal Court. It appears that the Defendant attempted to enter the Franklin Lakes Municipal Court with marijuana in his pocket on the mistaken believe, that his court date for a previous marijuana arrest was scheduled for that date. While attempting to enter security, the officers discovered that the Defendant was not only scheduled for court that day but also that he was again possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia. As a result, the Defendant was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.
