Hackensack Man Charged with Burglary in Maywood NJ

636235175654903139-Mark-Todd.jpgThe Maywood police department has announced that they have arrested and charged a Hackensack man with several counts of burglary stemming from an incident that allegedly took place last September. According to the information that has been released at this point in time the Defendant is alleged to have burglarized two commercial buildings on September 13 of last years. In addition, it is believed that he attempted to burglarize three other commercial properties but was unsuccessfully. The Defendant allegedly made off with an unknown amount of cash and electronics from the two business. 

It is unclear at this point in time what tied the Defendant to burglaries but appears that security footage from one of the properties was able to get a clear shot of the Defendant entering the building. He has been arrested and formally charged with two counts of burglary in the third degree, three counts of attempted burglary in the third degree and two counts of theft in the third degree. A third degree felony is punishable by up to five years in a New Jersey State Prison and a fine up too $15,000.
